UV light that disinfect your phone

In our daily lives, we use cellphones a lot, and we believe they are safe to use. Many of the people think the kitchen or the washrooms might be the filthiest rooms in their house, but the truth is, our phones may be 18 times dirtier than the public restrooms. So, how do these daily use things get so dirty?

We often and frequently use our phones for various things such as gaming, socializing, calling, work, and other stuff. And we visit many places on a daily basis such as markets, offices, parks, etc. where we might touch things like dirty doorknobs, grocery carts, and whatnot. Every dirt that our hands collect gets on our mobile phone first. Because each time we touch the phone, we do not wash our hands. Remember, our mobile phone is almost like our third hand that gets exposed to a lot of dirt on a daily basis. The only difference is, we wash our hands whenever we get a chance to, but we don’t clean our phones that often.

How to clean up our messy phones?

After getting in the face with the truth of our third hand, we are all desperate for a solution. So, here is the solution we are looking for, and it’s called the PhoneSoap. It is the first one of its kind mobile phone holder. It was invented by a cousin duo Wes LaPorte and Dan Barnes and was pitched on Shark Tank.

How does the PhoneSoap work?

All you have to do is put the phone in a mini tanning bed like thing that blasts UV-C lights. This has the capacity to kill 99.99% of bacteria living on your phone. The laboratory that has made the device claims has tested the device on the common household things and hence proves the result. Well, after 10 minutes, your phone comes out clean as new.

The company further says, the UV lights do not harm the phone. The PhoneSoap has not been tested for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) yet, but it is capable of killing most of the bacteria.

Discovery channel and Mia Lieberman, the clinical veterinarian, found that PoneSoap is effective against the bacteria. Discovery channel further believed that it does get to all the nooks that an alcohol wipe cannot get to. Also, alcohol wipes are not an ideal way to clean the phone as the screen is subject to damage. The clinical vet from the Harvard Medical School further noted that eliminating COVID-19 would require a much larger UV-C dose.

There are five versions of PhoneSoap according to all your mobile sanitizing needs. You can get them as per their availability till the mid of April as the current line of manufactured products has been finished due to the increasing demand.

Take away

In times when we are all cautious about staying clean and not developing or catching the scariest pandemic COVID-19, PhoneSoap is a small contribution towards the betterment of the society. Cleaning your phone might be a small step but is an important step indeed. While you head online to look for ways to sanitize your phone, buy this amazing device for continued and safe usage of your mobile phones.
